Farmhouse stays, waterfall hikes, a brief walk into Bhutan and a gompa that has been standing longer than anyone can remember. Three days of doing nothing fast.
The tri-junction where Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Bhutan meet. A hanging bridge into Bhutan, a local market, and the sacred Brahmaputra headwaters. Most people never know this exists.
A gentle hike through Shergaon\'s forests leads to Choskorong Falls. The trail passes through apple orchards, rhododendron groves and small farmsteads. This is the kind of walk you do slowly, because there is no reason to hurry.
A serene Buddhist monastery above Shergaon village. Butter lamps, prayer wheels, monks going about their morning. The view from the gompa steps across the valley is the best free thing on this tour.

Not at all. Shergaon is a small Monpa village at around 1,700m. It has apple orchards, a horticulture farm, a waterfall nearby, and a Buddhist monastery. There are no crowds, no resort complexes — just farmhouses, local families, mountain air and quiet. This is one of the least visited corners of West Kameng.
Breakfast is included for both mornings. Lunch and dinner are not included because we want you to enjoy local food at your own pace. Budget approximately ₹300–500 per person per day. Your guide will recommend the best local options — Shergaon has genuine home-cooked food that is part of the experience.
Warm layered clothes — evenings in Shergaon are cool. A light waterproof jacket for the waterfall hike. Good grip walking shoes. Basic medications. Carry a rucksack or mid-size trolley — luggage may need to be moved at certain points. We provide a first-aid kit throughout.
